Mmm. Goat legs...
Jul. 30th, 2011 04:08 pmI just adore Craig Ferguson. When I have time to waste I go play on YouTube to watch back episodes of his hilarious show. I get excited when I see him in random other projects.
I had forgotten that he was in A Series of Unfortunate Events. Ha! Hilarious.
For extra fun, feel free to investigate his interviews with Billy Connolly, Nathan Fillion, and William Shatner.
Anyway, we were in the YouTube rabbithole last night and I came across an interview with James McAvoy.
It's spectacularly embarrassing that I did not recognize this actor. The name meant nothing to me, and I didn't recognize his face right away. One of my companions mentioned that he was in the recent Xmen Origins film as young Xavier.
And then also reminded me that... (gulp) he was the charming actor who played MISTER TUMNUS in The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe.
AUGH! Splutter! I didn't recognize him without his face, or hooves. (He wore fairly extensive facial prosthetics for that role...)
So then I see him with his fabulous scottish accent joshing around with Craig and it did something to me, apparently.
I dreamed about James McAvoy *all night long* last night. Weird. My celebrity dreams are often very strange, and in this case he was "hanging around" with my friends and myself, in for a convention or something and had slipped his handler's leash to come and play with us. And kept flirting with me.
Huh.
Of course he had neither Tumnus's hooves nor face for the dream either. Somehow that was weirder...
